"Roman Ruins"

Beauty resides in the Lower Catesby hamlet. This small cultivated land belongs to the Catesby parish of Northamptonshire. Lower Catesby sits on the edge of River Leam and is a beautiful abode of many medieval and ancient buildings. The site was explored heavily and Roman coins dating back to the 2nd – 3rd century were discovered. The village also houses a former priory which now stands in ruins. Remains of a once flourishing Catesby House also attract many tourists.
