The Catesby Priory is an ancient house of religion. Located in the Lower Catesby hamlet of Northamptonshire, the priory was built for Cistercian nuns. This house of faith was founded in the 12th century, but was ultimately dissolved in the 16th century. The site now holds the ruins of this once flourishing house of faith. A designated site of English heritage, the site has many earthworks and medieval ponds adorning the ground.
