"Solemn Picture"
A solemn picture awaits the onlooker at the Borough Hill. Located at the east of Daventry town, the hill falls in the Northamptonshire County. With an elevation of 200 meters (660 feet) above sea level, the hill houses two Iron Age hill forts which have been designated as sites of heritage. The site also has Bronze Age earthworks and remains of a Roman villa. The site once housed a transmitting station for BBC for a suitable period of time. The hill offers splendid views of the surrounding countryside and is a great place for leisurely walks.
