"Tales of Faith"
Redundant religion speaks many a tale in the corridors of St. Leonard’s Church. The disused church is located in the Spernall region of Warwickshire. This redundant Anglican Church is a designated site of English heritage. Built in the 12th century, the church’s chancel arch and part of the glass work form the oldest parts of the building. Constructed with limestone and brick, the church is designed in the Norman style of architecture and sits on a bed of wilderness. The site is currently managed by the Friends of Friendless Churches and has been used as an artist studio. While the church is open to visitors, be sure to contact the charity's office before planning a visit.
