Braunstonbury

Civilization reveals a new past at the Braunstonbury village. This lost village lies to the south-west of the Braunston village of Northamptonshire. The site sits on the River Leam’s eastern bank. According to historical documents, the village was a brimming site of activity during the 11th century. However not much can be gauged about the village or the inhabitants. The site houses many medieval remains and some small fish ponds.
