The Environment Centre

The Environment Centre is the focal point of Swansea's green conscience. It's an umbrella organization for local environmental groups and offers information and advice on any environmental issue to schools, businesses and individuals. If you want to know about campaigns, courses and events, or if you need practical advice about anything from organic gardening to solar water heating, this is the place to come. The building itself is a demonstration of best environmental practice and alternative technology. Temporary themed exhibitions promoting awareness of different issues are staged which are designed to appeal to kids. You can buy eco-friendly produce in the Green Shop and have a cup of Fair Trade tea or coffee.
