Grand Theatre

The stage has been entirely modernized. Throughout the year it hosts safe and traditional family entertainment in the form of popular musicals, dance, drama, opera and comedy. The theater is home to the Ballet Russe, a young troupe of dancers trained in Russia and led by the Messerer family who perform here regularly. The recently revamped box office is now part of the newly opened Arts Wing with excellent exhibition spaces for fine art, photography and sculpture. These areas are accessed by a stunning Art Deco style spiral staircase and bathed in light through the glass facade. At the very top is the Depot studio performance space and a rooftop bar with superb views over the north of the city.
