"Local Artifacts & Fossils"
An elegant Victorian building houses Wales' oldest museum. It's the sort of local repository that crocodiles of young school children are required to wind about but it is worth a visit. It has a good local history exhibition with artifacts dating back to Roman times. The fossil display is also interesting with a complete Ichthyosaur skeleton. From more recent times are the locally produced porcelain and pottery items. Pride of the place, however; goes to something completely unconnected with the city, the carefully restored mummy of an Egyptian priest called Hor.
