La Braseria

This spacious, authentic Spanish bodega is set on two levels with open-plan kitchens enabling customers to view the chefs at work. The food is beautifully displayed for diners to select the ingredients from which their dish is then created. Tiger prawns, swordfish steaks, ostrich meat cutlets and beef steaks are just some of the culinary delights on offer. There is a self-serve salad bar with home-made salad dressings and a host of fresh salad vegetables. The extensive wine list includes Rioja at around GBP10 a bottle. In addition to the à la carte menu, there is a value-for-money lunch menu for around GBP7. La Braseria does not accept bookings for less than six people. It is advisable to go as early as possible if you want to avoid a long, alcoholic wait at the wine counter.
