The hill of Carreg Cadno is located on the northeastern edge of Abercraf. Housed in the Powys county of South Wales, the hill is a part of the Brecon Beacons National Park. It also forms a fragment of the Fforest Fawr Geopark. The hill is frequented by walkers and nature enthusiasts owing to the beautiful scenic view it provides. Geologically abundant, the Carreg Cadno is a site of the Twrch Sandstone and Carboniferous Limestone. The grayish color of the rocks attracts a lot of tourists. The Carreg Cadno houses one of Britain's deepest caves, the Ogof Ffynnon Ddu.
