The library boasts a vast collection of a wide genre of books including fiction, self-help, biographies, education, public records magazines, periodicals, and electronic media like DVDs, movies, e-books, audiobooks and much more. The library also has plenty of community and conference rooms and frequently hosts local events, music shows, exhibitions, book-readings, and other cultural activities. The building is exceptionally clean and the staff and librarians are always friendly and eager to assist.
Sulphur Springs Museum and Heritage Center is located in Tampa, Fl. Inaugurated in 2010, the musuem aims at preserving local history and has numerous artifacts on display. Mastadon bones, stone arrow heads, photographs of Nebraska Avenue, etc are some of the items from their extensive collection. One of the main attractions of the museum is the display of the areas mineral water sites which is used for research as well.
St. Petersburg Museum Of History has been amassing exhibits since 1920, the early boom days of St. Petersburg. A decidedly eclectic collection, the items range from fossilized footprints to St. Pete's famous green benches. There's an audio-visual presentation, hands-on exhibits of costumes and the Flight One gallery, devoted to pilot Tony Jannus. In the archives are 30,000 objects relating to the history of local tourism and businesses. Those are available to the public by appointment only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
