Cigar City Brewing is one of Tampa's favorite breweries. This craft brewery regularly concocts different varieties of its regular beers, ranging from IPA's to Espresso Brown Ale. The brewery also always features a good amount of special and seasonal brews. Cigar City offers tours of its 15 barrel brewery. The tasting room features all of the brewery's own beers as well as other local craft favorites. Special events also occur here, including weekly food truck nights.
To experience one of the best pints of Guinness in the city, a visit to this authentic thatched-roof establishment is a must. The pub sports all things Irish, including live folk music, excellent food and fine Irish whiskeys. Allow plenty of time: this place is popular and is usually packed. Jannus Live is not large, but actually seeing the show is not always easy; there are benches to stand on to see over other people. You choose from seasonal entrees, Smoked Mullet or Salmon if you're not up for the crab cracking effort. Iced tea and beer are the favored options.
