St. Paul's Well

St. Paul Kuyusu, also known as St. Paul's Well is located in the heart of the city. The pond is sacred and is of religious importance to the Christians. It is made of stones and the two walls around the pond are said to be the walls of the house of St Paul. The pond is not just sacred as it is associated with St Paul, but in the olden days the water from the pond was used for healing purposes. Also, tourists drink the water from the pond as a sign of faith. The pond has scenic gardens with beds of roses and the small bunnies in the garden, makes the venue an even more interesting sight. The pond is a famous pilgrim spot among the patrons who come to express their devotion here.
