Muzeum Vysočiny Jihlava

Among the oldest museums in Southwest Moravia, Muzeum Vysočiny Jihlava is home to an impressive collection of historic and cultural artifacts belonging to the Vysočina Region. Founded by Jaroslav Janoušek, a professor at the Higher Regional School, the museum was originally meant to document the region’s history. In the coming years, however, it became a center of education, collection and presentation. The museum hosts both long-term exhibitions and temporary, thematic exhibitions. Additionally, visitors can also participate in the cultural and social events held here.
