Windenhütte Hunting Lodge
The Jagdschloss Windenhütte is located in the Harz Mountains of the Saxony-Anhalt state of Germany. The hunting lodge was established in 1872 by the Duke of Brunswick at the time, within the woods at near Hasselfelde. He named it the Winden Hut. In the early 1900s, the Duke of Mecklenburg, John Albert, laid foundation to a stone lodge. The twin structures function as a hotel and a corresponding restaurant that is open to the public.
