The Sam Waller Museum is a museum that is dedicated to The Pas region as well as an unusual collection full of eccentric objects. The museum's general collection contains interesting regional historical artifacts, including First Nations items, steamboat era details, and community events. However, it's "Sam's Gallery," which is an exhibit based on founder Sam Wller's collection, that makes this museum truly unique. This gallery offers an usual and varied displays, including a two-headed calf and dressed fleas!
Sitting at the northern edge of Manitoba’s central lakes, Clearwater is exactly what it sounds like; a lake that is so clear its bottom is visible past depth of 10 meters (30 feet). Resident northern pike, large trout, and whitefish call the lake home. The surrounding park offers plenty of opportunities for swimming, boating, camping, and hiking. A self-guided trail takes hikers to the “caves,” where huge sections of rock have broken off of dolomite cliffs.
