Le Pommier (The Apple Tree) is run by Frederic Madelaine, a French chef so highly regarded in his home country that he was awarded the honor of 'Chevalier', the French version of a knighthood. Madelaine is a Normandy local and in Le Pommier, he shares his home region's love of apples. The house special, the 'Pommier' is a delectable apple mousse cake; he also makes pastries in the shape of the year's Chinese zodiac animal as well as delicious macaroons. Le Pommier is extremely popular with locals and it's the perfect place to satisfy a sugar craving.
