"Showcasing New Talent"
Junko Shimada opened Gallery Side 2 in 1997; she started her venture by showcasing new artists who'd never had the opportunity to exhibit in Tokyo before. Now, with her gallery in Roppongi, she still heralds new talents alongside works from established local and international artists. There are some striking installations and the gallery has a cool, crisp feel to it. Free admission.
