Tokyo Disneyland

This magical wonderland is a fitting embodiment of Walt Disney's legacy. Opened in 1983, Tokyo Disneyland was the first Disney theme park to be built outside the United States. The park is centered around the iconic Cinderella Castle, and features a troupe of attractions scattered across numerous themed arenas such as World Bazaar, Adventureland, Westernland, Critter Country, Fantasyland, Toontown and Tomorrowland. In addition, this gargantuan facility is also home to an arsenal of shops and dining facilities. Here, Mickey Mouse, along with his clan of iconic Disney characters, parades around, sparking joy and jubilation among both young and old.

Chiba Zoological Park

One of Chiba's most visited attractions, the Chiba Zoo is a delight for animal lovers. The park is divided into different habitats and sections where visitors can explore all the animals housed in this charming zoo. The Small Animals Zone is the home of the zoo's mascot Futa-the red panda, the zoological hall houses breathtaking tropical birds and two-toed sloths while the Steppe Zone is dominated by the elephants, giraffes and ostriches. SKY CIRCUS Sunshine 60 Observatory

Situated within the once tallest building of Tokyo is the Sunshine 60 Observatory. The place is located at the top floor, which is the 60th floor of the structure and offers unobstructed views of the Tokyo city skyline. On a cloudless day, you can see the city to as far as 100 kilometers (63 miles) from the observatory deck. There are 40 elevators within the tower but once specific elevator works at the speed of 600 meters (1968 feet) per minute and is a direct stop from the lobby to the main deck. The Sky Circus is one of the best features of this observatory. Offering VR (virtual reality) experiences to the visitors for a fee, the thrill seekers and even those with a faint heart get to feel the adrenaline in an absolutely safe way. While you can enjoy the spectacular skyline, you can also go on a virtual adventure or simple enjoy a coffee in Tully's Coffeeshop.

One Omotesando

One Omotesando is a striking building, in a fantastic position on the so-called 'Super Brand Street'. Designed by Kengo Kuma and his associates, it is owned by Bernard Arnault, whose designer stables houses the likes of Donna Karan and Fendi. One Omotesando is seven floors of luxury clothing for men and women; the building was designed by famous architect, Kengo Kuma, to showcase eye-catching window displays and a palpable sense of luxury. The building also houses the headquarters of Louis Vuitton Japan.

National Film Archive of Japan

A cultural hot-spot located in Kyobashi, the National Film Archive of Japan pays tribute to the Japanese film industry. The center is the nation's exclusive authority on all cinema-related archives, with nearly 40,000 national and international films held in its collection. Interested visitors can browse through their permanent exhibits that include books, periodicals, posters, among several other paraphernalia. There are also special film screenings held at their in-house cinemas, featuring vintage movies, attracting a a large crowd of movie buffs. There is also a library of film books, and other film-related memorabilia on the premises.
