"History Of Etobicoke"

Established in 1832, Montgomery's Inn is located on Dundas Street, in Islington. The historic home was once functioned as a very popular public house which also provided shelter to those on the road. Restored to a Georgian facade of 1840s, Montgomery's Inn now is owned and operated by City of Toronto as museum that preserves a culture inherent to the Etobicoke region. Apart from the museum, Montgomery's Inn also hosts cultural events and exhibitions that represent history and culture of Etobicoke. The place is also available on private hire for events such as weddings, meetings and such.
