"City Landmark"

Earlier known as the Metro Square, in 2011 this plaza was renamed as Pecaut Square, in honor of the renowned civic leader David Pecaut. This city landmark is worth a visit for its beautiful lawn and brilliant sculptures like The Poet, The Fever Hospital and Surface Design for Tampered Windscreens. Pecaut Square also offers great views of significant tourist attractions like Royal Alexandria Theater and Metro Hall. This otherwise serene area comes alive during community events and wears a festive looks. In the past, concerts and other public events were hosted here.
