Fred Thury Studio Theatre situated on the second floor of Vanier college is a performing arts theater that is home to the Vanier College Productions. Apart from playing host to performing arts program of the college, this modest theater also hosts performances of the local theater groups and performing artists. Being situated on the campus of York University, the majority of the fans attending the various performances at the Fred Thury Studio are students. Established in 1942, St. George Macedono-Bulgarian Eastern Orthodox Church is one of the three Macedono-Bulgarian Orthodox churches in Toronto. Pape Avenue Cemetery, established in 1849 is the first and oldest Jewish cemetery in Toronto. It is officially known as Holy Blossom Cemetery. The cemetery rests many prominent residents of the time.
