Give your children a glimpse of 18th-century school life at the Historic Zion Schoolhouse. This school was built to provide basic education like arithmetic, reading, history, etc to the children of L'Amaroux, a peasant community. Here, children are allowed to dress up and make-believe, as they learn with their teachers who are also role playing. Children use chalks and slates to write, and then recite old poems with their teachers. This role play is a fun way to teach history and culture to today's children who are internet savvy.
