Tralee

Tralee is the biggest town in County Kerry and was established in the 13th Century by an Anglo-Norman knight, John Fitz-Thomas Fitzgerald. Though evidence suggest its existence during the Neolithic times. The present design of the town was created in 1826. This culturally rich township is also a haven for shoppers as it is touted to the county's retail hub. Some of the interesting sites to visit are the Kerry County Museum, Garden of the Senses, Siamsa Tíre, Aquadome, Ratass Church, Tralee Town Park, Tralee Ship Canal, Tralee Bay, Blennerville Windmill, Caherconree and Annagh Church. It is also home to renowned festivities like The National Circus Festival of Ireland, Tir Na Nog Childrens Festival and Rose Of Tralee International Festival.
