Dating back to 1230, Dreikönigenhaus is a well-preserved early Gothic building. The peculiar feature of this house is that its main entrance is placed on the first floor and can be accessed only with the help of a ladder. In the olden days, this was a security measure opted by rich residents. Visitors are not permitted to enter the building anymore, but they can study its unusual features while sipping on a cup of coffee from the cafe that is now present on its lowest floor.
