Gates Pass
For a panoramic view of Tucson and its surrounding mountain ranges, drive uphill west on Speedway Boulevard, which turns into Gates Pass Road. Stop at Gates Pass, at the apex of the road, and enjoy the desert and mountain vistas from the parking lot at the side of the road, particularly at sunset. Be aware that this is a narrow winding road frequently used by bicyclists.
D&D Pinball
The minute you walk into D&D Pinball, the clanking of pinball bells and quarters jangling in pockets permeates the air. On both side of the walls, D&D has pinball machines, from classic ones like Galaga to more modern ones like Star Wars and Nightmare on Elm Street. It's located right near the 4th Avenue Shopping District and makes for a great stop after dinner or shopping; just remember to bring your quarters.

Cocoraque Ranch
Cocoraque Ranch offers a true slice of the old west on their 16,000 acre working cattle ranch. Located just west of the Desert Museum, they offer trail rides seven days a week by appointment, out in the beautiful Sonoran Desert. They have horses suited to all levels of riders, and offer basic to advanced rides ranging from one hour to all day. They are also able to arrange cattle drives for groups of ten or more. Reservations are required.
