Tullahoma

Tullahoma is a city that is located in Tennessee's Franklin and Coffee counties. Founded in 1852, Tullahoma means "red rock" in the Choctaw language. An early farming settlement, the city flourished as a resort town in the 20th Century, with the emergence of many spas thanks to its proximity to Big Springs. Today, the Short Springs Natural Area is a popular attraction with its numerous waterfalls and nature trails. Tullahoma is also known for being home the George Dickel Distillery and the Beechcraft Heritage Museum, which is an impressive aviation museum.
