Luis Puig Palace

Built in 1992 the Luis Puig Palace is a very modern indoor sports complex of international repute. The European indoor athletics championships for 2000 were held in this building and many international and national indoor cycle pursuits have taken place here. Given this fact it is not surprising that the headquarters for the Cycling Federation of Valencia has also found a home here. The prices and dates for the spectator events vary and you should contact the Velodrome directly for more details. If you turn up on a Sunday and there is no special event taking place, you can watch some of Valencia's top cyclists being put through their paces on the pursuit track. It is very impressive to see these supreme athletes shooting past just a couple of feet from you.
