The venue can accommodate up to 8000 spectators and will be one of the busiest during the games as it hosts all speed skating medal events. Post-Games, the Oval continues to offer community programming, sports rehabilitation and medicine services, specialized fitness studios, as well as function as a training center for national and international sports teams.
