"Venetian Church"

Facing the Canal Grande, San Stae is a church with a large Baroque façade architected by Domenico Rossi. The building is temple shaped with a huge triangle pediment supported by tall pedestals. It is a single nave church with three chapels on each side. On the interior side, there are many valuable paintings made by highly skilled Venetian decorators and painters. Due to its good acoustics, the church is often used for concerts.
