Museum van Bommel van Dam was formed by Maarten and Reina van Bommel-van Damas, both art lovers and collected artwork after Second World War. The museum now belongs to the German/Dutch partnership of seven German and four Dutch museums. The collection at the museum consists of art by Shinkichi Tajiri, Constant Nieuwenhuys, Lucebert and many more. Also, portraits of Giuseppe Ungaretti (the Italian poet) and Bernard Berenson (American art historian) are on display. The museum is open on Easter and Whit Mondays.
