This famous square is often the site of protests and rallies, primarily because of its proximity to the White House. The museum also features a large collection of over 15000 art pieces, 20000 books, music, manuscripts, etc.
Though it was founded in 1863, it was built in 1908 and is one of the esteemed clubs in town. The Metropolitan Club of the City of Washington is near to the White House and other key city landmarks. Though it is a members-only club, it is a beautiful venue used for private events and dinners. It is frequented by local high-flyers. Their service is as impeccable as its reputation. This historic location has also hosted national and international leaders.
