Located in the Bruce and Johnson Marina, Dockside Seafood and Grill is a wonderful restaurant to enjoy a variety of seafood dishes along with other American cuisines. The restaurant is managed by the ‘Sassy Seafood Sisters’, Susan and Traci. The restaurant has a cool and comforting atmosphere with an outdoor seating and offers one of the best sunset views while you enjoy your meal. Besides regular meals on the menu they offer a four-course meal and popular dishes being the fish and chips, calamari, grilled chicken and salads to name a few. The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner and is an ideal place to enjoy a meal at reasonable prices.
One of the area's best restaurants, Black-eyed Sally's BBQ & Blues has barbecue, catfish, grits, fried chicken and plenty of other Southern favorites, all accompanied by live music. Open for lunch and dinner, this is one of the most popular eateries in the downtown area and a great place to "Pig-Out" (a dinner special that includes ribs, pulled pork and Andouille sausage). Be sure to get here early because it gets busy on weekends and game days!

Operating since 1976, this bar is known for offering an extensive list of beverages in a cozy ambiance. Sip on to your favorite spirits or ask the bartender to whip up some enticing cocktails that will leave you wanting for more. Spread across three floors, the property boasts of a chic ambiance. The first floor is a chic pub. There is a vodka bar and a lounge along with a billiards room on the second floor. While, the third floor features a cigar lounge with a rooftop setting. Located in downtown Hartford, right across the street from the XL Center, the Rocking Horse Saloon serves drinks reasonable prices and has a friendly atmosphere. You can order a whiskey and enjoy the bar's music, which is mostly country. The bar tends to be crowded before and after an event at the XL Center, but you'll still have a fun time.
