A verdant expanse occupying the heart of the city, Woodland Park is Kalispell's beloved public park. It delights visitors with its natural allure that includes a picturesque pond, carefully manicured lawns, peacefully wandering ducks, towering trees, and enchanting birdsongs. The park is also a treat during winters when the pond takes on the role of an ice rink.
Northern Pines Golf Club was built by 1996. Created by Roger Packard and Andy North, this challenging link features water elements, sweeping fairways and tall pines. There is also an on-site pro shop.
The Hockaday Museum of Art preserves and promotes artisans of Montana. The museum exhibits the work of many local artists and includes a unique collection of artifacts that includes crafts and pottery, making it a compelling place to visit while in the city.
Lawrence Park is a lovely park in town. A small creek runs along it. It features a golf course, picnic spots, trails and more. You will spot many birds here making it a popular bird-watching site.
