Wedmore Place

Opened in 1983, Wedmore Inn sits on land that has quite the history. The land was first tilled as a farm in 1615, and was noted to be a hot bed of revolutionary talk during the United States' war with Great Britain. It was not until 1985, however, that the first grapes were planted on the land. The hotel and winery sit nestled in 300 acres of beautiful Virginia land. This European-style country hotel boasts 28 stunning rooms, all of which come with a delicious continental breakfast that is served in the Buttery each morning. Guests are treated to a complimentary tour and wine tasting at the Williamsburg Winery, and are welcome to wander around the estate's gorgeous acreage. Also on site are a pool, spa, and the Cafe Provencal, which serves up masterful French cuisine.
