West End Biz Mural Tours

The neighborhood of West End is known for being one of the most multi-ethnic areas in Winnipeg. Its walls are lined with several colossal murals that celebrate this multicultural community. By embarking on a two-hour tour with West End Biz, you can learn about the neighborhood's rich history and get to see some jaw-dropping street art. One mural reminisces about a skating rink that once stood here, while another depicts a coffee ceremony in Ethiopia. Both local and global personalities are recognized in the beautiful wall art, including Guy Maddin, Harry Lehotsky and Mahatma Gandhi. West End Biz even runs a Mural Mentorship Program so that art students from the nearby University of Winnipeg can collaborate on projects.
