The Circus World Museum shows visitors unique displays that take you through the history of circus. Dealing in particular with the documents and records that chronicle the history of American circuses, the Circus World Museum houses the largest circus artifact treasure trove in the world. Walk into the museum to find a library and research center, elaborate circus parades and live circus performances. Declared a National Historic Landmark, the Circus World Museum stretches over 64 acres (25.8 hectares) of land and houses hundreds of original wagons that were used by traveling circuses from America, Ireland and England. Enjoy their excellent poster collection, which includes the Buffalo Bill Wild West that is over nine feet (2.7 meters) in length.
