Festung Marienberg, situated on the banks of the Main river, dates back to the early 13th Century. Spread over three floors, the museum also shows a wide range of orders, decorations, medals, stamps with fire brigade motifs, and philatelic receipts.
Iphofen's oldest city gate has become a landmark of the city and the motif of many painters and photographs. The 15th century portal delights people with its beautiful half-timbering, the tall pointed tower and the gatehouse.
