Reisers am Stein

At the Reisers am Stein, dishes are cooked to perfection with the use of locally sourced ingredients, and keen attention is paid to the presentation of the food. As it is located inside a vineyard, wine is poured in libation here. A meal at the Reisers am Stein is akin to a lovely fairy tale.

Kuno 1408

At star restaurant KUNO 1408 in Würzburg, has a dual leadership in the kitchen. Patrick Grieshaber has taken over the reins together with Robin Hofmann with the aim of refining Franconian cuisine internationally and procuring regional, seasonal and local produce, preferably organic. They are brimming with ideas! Tanja Mieskes manages the service staff warmly and competently. Be prepared for a unique evening full of pampering. This really lovely restaurant is located in the center of the city and has a tradition dating back to 1408, with Kuno von Rebstock having been one of the first owners, and the name stuck. Modern-day dishes are served in four- to six-course set menus by a trained and attentive wait staff, who are also adept at suggesting excellent wine pairings. The restaurant itself is also done out well on the interior in elegant, warm and pastel tones and furnished well too. The poultry, game and fish pâtés are exceptional. The restaurant keeps a fine wine cellar with a selection of Franconian wines.

Café Mozart

Located in the heart of the city Café Mozart is quite popular among the locals of Würzburg and they do not hesitate in recommending this charming cafe to visitors as well. The cafe opens its doors to hungry patrons from 8:30a, breakfast specials start doing rounds on tables then. Later, the place is also explored for lunch by young college students, travelers as well as professionals working in the city. Their waiters are very friendly, albeit struggling with English, they do get all of the orders spot on. As evening arrives, you can sit and enjoy the views of the bustling city at their outside patio while sipping on punch cocktails. Mozart makes it all happen!

B. Neumann

Named after Balthasar Neumann, B. Neumann restaurant is located next to Würzburger Residenz. The restaurant serves delectable Franconian cuisine and has a beautiful ambiance. The decor is elegant with wooden flooring, beautifully laid-out tables, spectacular artwork on the walls, and pleasant lighting. In the warmer months, you can enjoy your meals in their attractively laid-out beer garden. Oenophiles will be impressed with the variety of wines on offer here. The restaurant also has two function rooms for all your special occasions and can host weddings, too.
