Kiki’s Bakery

Situated in the narrow lane full of shops, Kiki's Bakery is one of the most visited places in the entire Yufuin Floral Village. The design, decor and even menu of the shop is inspired by the famous Japanese anime Kiki's Delivery Service. Kiki's Bakery sells fresh breads and pastries just like the ones featured in the movie. Hundreds of fans visit this place to get a glimpse of the real-life bakery from their favorite anime flick. Even if you are unaware of the movie, the tasty croissants, breads and pastries make it well worth the visit. The award winning Butter Croissant available here is a must try. A small chandelier hanging from the ceiling is the only decorative item in this otherwise modest shop. To add to the unique theme, the staff at the counter is dressed like the character Kiki herself.
