Ugljan Island

Located along the south west perimeter of Croatia, Ugljan is one of the country's most populated islands. Civilization can be observed on the eastern coast which is closer to the mainland to the city of Zadar. Tourists can explore the island with rented vehicles or by taking a tour with the local guides. There are many hotels, resorts, restaurants and bars that offer moderate priced accommodation and food. It is favorable to visit this place during the summer as the leaves turn green with blooming colorful flowers and the sun shines upon the blue waters of the Adriatic Sea.
