Set in Reutlingen, Spreuerhofstrasse is known as the narrowest street in the world. It was built in the year 1727 after the city broke out in flames in 1726. The street’s width ranges between 31 centimeters (12.2 inches) and 50 centimeters (19.7 inches). This old street is registered as City Street Number 77. It is lined with several historic houses from the 18th century. Since no man or child can fit into this narrow street, this alley will eventually cease to be known as a street.
