It’s been used as an observation tower even today. Visitors can climb the 123 steps leading to its observation deck on the fifth and the top floor and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding area.
Wimpelinhof is a three-sided farm in Markgröningen, Germany. It consists of a residential building and an economic building, built in the years 1599 and 1630 respectively. Opened to public access in 2018, Schönbuchturm is an observation tower in Herrenberg, Germany. It is a 35 meter (114.28 feet) tall structure with three equidistant viewing platforms on it. Supported by eight-goblet-like larch wood masts braced by a steel cable network, the platforms can be reached via the two helical stairs running around these masts. You can see enchanting views of the plains of the Heckengau and Korngau, the Schönbuch, the Swabian Alb, and the Black Forest from the top of this huge tower.
In its present form, Evangelische Stadtkirche Lorch is believed to date from the 15th Century. Featuring a noteworthy exterior, the church's façade is complemented by an adjoining tower that culminates in a spire. Within its interior, visitors will find a blend of Gothic and Baroque details, along with several religious panels which together attest to the church's subtle beauty. The choir, pulpit, and crucifix are some other elements that accentuate its religious splendor. Additionally, an organ designed by Johann Victor Gruohl can be admired.
